Results typically last two to six weeks depending on individual hair growth cycles and skin type. Regular appointments can lengthen intervals as hair thins. We’ll recommend a schedule based on your regrowth pattern during consultation.

Most clients feel brief, manageable discomfort as hair is removed from the root. We use soothing pre-care and calming post-wax treatments to reduce redness and irritation. If you have sensitive skin, tell your technician for extra gentle techniques and products.

Come with clean, dry skin and hair about 1/4 inch long for best results. Avoid exfoliants, chemical peels, and retinoids 48–72 hours beforehand. Skip heavy creams on the day and let us know about medications or skin treatments.

Maintenance typically falls every 4–6 weeks depending on individual regrowth. After several sessions many clients notice slower, sparser hair, allowing longer intervals. We’ll track your progress and recommend an ideal schedule to keep your chin smooth and polished.

Waxing can sometimes lead to ingrown hairs, but regular gentle exfoliation and proper post-wax care greatly reduce risk. Use non-comedogenic moisturizers, exfoliate two to three times weekly, and ask us about professional products or in-salon treatments if you’re prone to ingrowns.

Many sensitive or acne-prone clients tolerate chin waxing when performed gently and with proper prep. We conduct a consultation and patch test for skin concerns. If you have active inflamed acne, open sores, or recent chemical treatments, we may recommend alternatives.
